Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which care services are provided. By booking services, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

I provide bespoke, non-medical home care and support services tailored to individual needs. Services may include personal care support, companionship, household assistance, shopping, medication reminders, and escorted appointments.

All care is delivered on a private, independent basis and is not an emergency medical service.

2. Bookings & Availability

All services are subject to availability. Holiday care packages are limited to ensure continuity and quality of service.

A pre-care consultation will be required before services begin to ensure all needs are understood and appropriately planned.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required on a weekly basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Invoices are issued weekly and are payable within 48 hours of receipt.

Any costs relating to groceries, shopping, prescriptions, pet care items, or similar expenses must be paid in advance before the service is carried out.

Mileage and travel charges (where applicable) will be added to invoices.

Failure to make payment on time may result in suspension of services until the account is settled.

4. Cancellations

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations of scheduled visits. Late cancellations may be charged in full or partially at my discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients (or their representatives) are responsible for providing accurate information regarding health, medication, access arrangements, and care requirements.

Any changes in condition or requirements should be communicated as soon as possible.

6. Medication & Medical Care

Medication reminders may be provided where agreed, however I do not administer medication unless specifically trained and agreed in advance.

In all medical emergencies, 999 should be contacted immediately. My services do not replace NHS or emergency care.

7. Liability

While every effort is made to provide safe and high-quality care, I cannot be held responsible for outcomes arising from undisclosed medical conditions, inaccurate information, or refusal of medical advice.

8. Confidentiality

All personal information is treated with strict confidentiality and is only shared where necessary for the safe delivery of care or where required by law.

9. Service Changes

I reserve the right to amend services, availability, or pricing with reasonable notice.

10.Client Care Agreement

Prior to the commencement of care services, a Client Care Agreement must be completed and signed by both the client (or their authorised representative) and the care provider. This agreement will confirm the scope of care to be provided, individual needs and preferences, agreed routines, access arrangements, and relevant contact details. This agreement forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions and ensures that all care is delivered safely, appropriately, and in line with the clients requirements.
