Hello, I’m Debbie - founder of Bespoke Home Care West Sussex

I am a local lady from Felpham where I grew up and continue to live with my partner Alex and our family. Home, community, and caring for others have always been at the heart of who I am.

I am a proud mother to three wonderful children and share our home with our much loved dogs and cats, alongside our horse, who is also very much a part of family life. My two teenage daughters ride, and as a family we enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that is at the stables, enjoying the countryside, or simply making the most of family time together. Outside of work, I love walking, cooking, and being outdoors. I value the simple things in life - home, family, nature and meaningful connections - and I believe these values naturally shape the way I care for others.

Care has never been “just a job” to me. Supporting people with dignity, compassion and kindness is something I have always felt deeply passionate about, both professionally and personally.

I feel incredibly privileged to have built a long and varied career supporting people across local NHS, Private, and Community Care settings, including emergency care and primary care environments, and rehabilitation wards, supporting people with a wide range of health needs and life circumstances.

Throughout my career, I have continued to invest heavily in professional development and clinical training to ensure the people I care for receive safe, compassionate and high-quality support. My additional certified training includes areas such as safeguarding adults and children, infection prevention and control, wound care, medicines management, phlebotomy, disability awareness, autism awareness, equality and human rights, mental capacity, lone working, health and safety, and emergency response training including anaphylaxis, CPR and basic life support.

I believe great care is about far more than qualifications alone. It is about trust, dignity, reassurance and genuinely caring about people as individuals.

I understand how important it is for people to remain independent and comfortable within their own homes, maintaining familiar routines, surroundings and a sense of self. Home is where people feel safest — and I believe care should support that.

That is why I created Bespoke Home Care West Sussex: a discreet, reliable and highly personalised service tailored around each individual and family. No rushed visits. No impersonal care. Just thoughtful support designed around what matters most to you.

Whether someone needs companionship, wellbeing support, help following illness or surgery, assistance attending appointments, respite or holiday cover for family carers, or simply a reassuring familiar face, my aim is always the same:

To provide the kind of care I would want for my own loved ones.

Families and patients often tell me that what makes the greatest difference is not only professionalism and experience, but the warmth, patience and reassurance they feel when someone truly cares.

Thank you for visiting my website — I look forward to supporting you and your family.

Warm wishes,
Debbie
